Dear Students and Parents,
I would like to welcome all of you to 6A at CDNIS. I hope you all had a restful and fun-filled summer. I am incredibly excited to be beginning this year with all of you.
Here’s a bit about me. This is my third year at CDNIS and in Hong Kong and I am thrilled to be here! I am a Third Culture Kid. I am originally of Indian decent, I was born in Canada and I grew up in Saudi Arabia and Canada. I have an Honours Bachelor in Health Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters in Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. I have spent the past ten years teaching a variety of grade levels from 1-8, including Learning Support in Canada, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Turkey.
I have a passion for healthy living, cooking/food and travel, as well as all kinds of sports, especially volleyball, softball, yoga and dance. I encourage my students to take on an active lifestyle to become more balanced and well-rounded individuals.
I look forward to helping our students grow as learners and building their independence in preparation for their future. To do this they will need the support of you as their parents/guardians as well. I believe in open communication between students, teachers and parents to help our kids reach their full potential.
If you have any questions or concerns you can contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
