When I get back to school, I would like to choose the saxophone as my instrument for the music rotation, at first I was hoping that I could actually choose the violin, but since it was not on the list, I was like “Oh well, time to try something new, hmm, maybe Saxophone.”, and that is how I got to this stage. First things first, about all instruments the most important thing is cleaning, how to clean the saxophone, the saxophone is made up of a few parts, the mouthpiece, the neck and the body. More detailed cleaning procedures will be posted in the next blog, stay tuned for that!!!
Task: Create a role-play to include all of the information you have learned since the beginning of the year
Challenges on ……
Martin and I were a bit last minute since it was my fault, after finishing my part, I just left everything else for Martin, and maybe I can learn to pick up more things to do instead of just waiting for my partner to finish,
–-work ethic of partners (was my partner easy to work with)
Martin was easy to work with, he had great ideas and wonderful thinking skills, also he had effective ideas when we came to the point about the recording, it was his fabulous idea for using Imovie to link the two recordings together.
My pronunciation was not so accurate, so I would like to practise speaking more French, so I could be a fluent speaker, and next time I hope I could get a higher mark for pronunciation
-what did you learn about myself?
After this assessment, I learnt that I am a very reliable person when it came to group work or partner work, and I wish I could be a bigger help next time when it came to group work or pairing up with somebody
-how do I feel about my results?
I felt like I deserved this result since of my reliance on Martin, and don’t offer any help after I finish my work, also not practising on my pronunciation
The goal for next time:
Hope to have better pronunciation for the next assessment
Get more involved in the work, and keep the workload less for my partner
-how am I going to achieve my goal?
I think I am going to practise to talk more in French for pronunciation and to stop relying on others when it came to group work
