Amazing grace UKE assessment

What is the key of your tune? Time Signature? *
The key of tune is C major and the time signature is 3 and 4
What sort of rhythms are used in your song? How were they used musically? *
It starts with a G and goes up till E which is a half note, after that it slowly descend in tone and continues in this pattern for some time and goes till a G that is a 3 beat note and continues in the same pattern again, the song hits a suddenly higher note and descends till a very low note which is a half-beat and then with the same note and sound, the song ascends and has the same 2 notes D, the song continues to ascend till a very long A which is 4 beats and a rest as it’s end.
Discuss your note accuracy and rhythm accuracy in regards to your strumming and melodic playing… *
I did well on the accuracy of the rhythm but lacked accuracy in regards to strumming, I did not get many of the strumming changes on the right beat and was late for some of the note changes, I did not properly get the beats the strumming, some of it was faster and louder and some of it (most of it) was slower and much more delayed than it should have been.
What Ukulele skills have you acquired? Chords, melody, etc. *
I have learned a lot about the Melody and how to do that part of the Ukulele, and it makes the song sound a lot better, I have also learned how to put my Melody in beat with the singing I did for this assessment, one of the key things I have learned is what type of strumming and speed of the song can affect the actual song in different ways, like the Island strum, which is the one I used, it made it sound more smooth and soothing.
How did you decide your tempo to match your song and style? Did the context of the song change because of this? *
I chose 80 because it was slow enough for my taste, I think it would of sounded too weird if it was faster than I already put it, I chose this tempo also because I did not want the tempo to be too slow at the same time, I think I chose the perfect tempo for the song, since it was a slow and calm song, if it had been faster, it would lose it’s meaning.
How did you use the editing tools in Garageband? Trimming, Cutting, pasting, metronome, etc… *
I mostly used trimming for the parts that were not in beat like the Melody because that was the first recording so I made it too slow and could not say the words of the song and had to record that part again, like the strumming, did well in the end but I had to attempt 3 times to finally get it right the last time, the singing I did not need to trim or cut any of it
Discuss your recording process; recording bar at a time, chord at a time, in phrases? Did you have any concerns or issues? *
I first recorded the singing and made sure it did not sound like a dieing horse, luckily it did not, after the singing I did the melody, making sure all the different notes were correct, I did have to cut a lot because it was out of beat, for some of the melody notes I had to record separately because I kept messing up the timing and thought it would just be better to record it separately, for the strumming I chose the island strum because I thought it sounded better, for the strumming I did not really need to trim or cut it, I just had to attempt a few times to get it all right
