I would like to comment on my ancestor’s life, this is because I like to discover my history. I also have hope for the future of Hong Kong. I intend to use drama, music, and visual arts, basically everything. This is because I like all the subjects and I want to make a combination, to make it special and unique.
How did you become more aware of your own strengths and areas for growth?
I learnt that there are actually many many people who are in need in this world, so everybody should give their best to help the needy. So, my service in this trip is to build a shelter for the Sunday school.
How did you undertake challenges that developed new skills?
I believe that I learnt how to hammer a nail, and not let the nail curve in a way.
How did you plan your service experiences?
I thought that building a shelter suits me, because I like building things, also, I think that cutting wood and hammering are something new to me, and I thought it would be interested, and it is.
How did you persevere in action?
Our shelter group helped each other out when one is tired, which resembles great teamwork. In the end, everybody was all sweaty and tired, meaning everybody paid a lot of effort.
How did you work collaboratively with others?
We tried communicating at our best, like a conversation of a duck and a goose. In the end, I also learnt a few more Malaysian words and phrases.
How have you developed international-mindedness through global engagement, multilingualism and intercultural understanding? How could your international-mindedness be developed more next time you engage in service?
I mainly asked the instructors to learn the language. I can ask people to learn their own language.
How much have you considered the ethical implications of your actions? How do you know that you made a positive impact? How could you consider ethical implications more the next time you engage in service?
This helped the village people have a better place.
For example, an oil spill occurred because a cargo ship filled with oil and fuel sank. It can be cleaned up by skimming the oil from the water, it’s a pretty fast way, only that, it will also take in some water.
2. Is science good for humanity? Do the benefits of scientific discovery outweigh the problems it causes?
I think science is good for humanity. Even though, it does worsen the pollution we have in our present day, we also have technology that improved peoples lives a lot, maybe in the future, humans can even find ways to prevent and even stop pollution!
What are some cultural considerations people make when designing products?
People consider of their own culture, language, symbols and traditions.
How does the design of a product communicate traditions and values?
The symbols carry messages, and it stands for something. Colours also matter, different colour have different meanings. For example, red can be identified as love, passion, but can also symbolise blood, insanity…
Are handmade products an effective way of minimising environmental impact? Why and why not?
Yes, this is because it really prove that the person made it him/herself. That makes it more meaningful.

Hello guys! It’s Kyle (aka TLG) again, the following music is my product of the Sounds of CDNIS music project. In this song, I used some sounds I heard in CDNIS, a few MIDI Instruments, a drummer and several loops, there will be some intense feeling and a calming part in the middle which is a remix of an excerpt of some song you might have heard of. Anyways, hope you like it! =D
Keep in mind that this clip is 2x speed.
One more thing, a might add more instruments and loops into the project.
