How did you undertake challenges that developed new skills?

When I was in Taishan, I realized that I should improve my time management and organization skill. When I was planning the meetings, I only considered the time that it will take me to finish my surveys, excluding other important factors. For example, transportation, weather tec. Therefore, our schedule turns out to be very tide. However, I was able to undertake the challenge by adjusting the timetable on time. This experience built my time management skill and organization skill as I learnt how to make a more realistic time table

How did you become more aware of your own strengths and areas for growth

During the service I did in civics, I realized that communication skill is one of my strength. When I was contacting the founder of the organization, I was using Cantonese. When I was planning the trip with my partners, I used English. Moreover, I used Mandarin when I was doing surveys with the local Chinese kids. Therefore, I realized that I was able to communicate fluently using multiple languages
