## Robotics

This week (every week), We have been doing Robotics. We got into a pair and made a race track that you have to draw it onto two big pieces of a paper. We used Mbot to go through the race track.

My partner and I drew the race track onto a planning book. After we planned the race track, we got two two really big pieces of paper. This was the real race track that the robot is going to go onto. We used glue and glued two really big pieces of paper together. We used the pencils first to copy the race track onto the two big pieces of paper so we can erase the mistakes. After we finished with the race track, we used the marker to make the lines clear. Finally, We used our own computers to program the robots. My teacher told us to not to use the Line Follower. My partner and I only got through a part of our programming stage. We are really excited when we finished the programming stage.

## My Survey for 4B’s Favourite Sports

This picture on the top is a graph that I have created. My question that I asked to the students was Â â€ś What is your favourite sports that you likeâ€ť. I collected the data by using a chart. The chart show the choices and how many students picked that choice. I have used tally marks because it was easy to count with it. I also wrote all the names of my class so I wouldn’t ask the same person again. When I asked a student, I cross their name. I sometimes forgot and had to remember who I asked.

When I finished asking all the students, I went to this website named “Create a Graph Classic” to create a graph. The students have to pick one of the choices; Soccer, Basketball, Hockey, Tennis and others.Â Soccer got 6, Basketball got 2, Hockey got 2, Tennis got 3, others got 11.

The scale was 11 and the range was 9.Â Most was others and least wasÂ Basketball and Hockey

## Reflective Writing: Robotics

This is a Reflective writing about the robotics. The picture is the half way through of my coding. The coding will make the robot dance. The coding that I did looked long but it isnâ€™t really long when you see the robot dance. I wanted the robot to forward and backward, turn right and left, show images on the screen and beep tones. I think that if the robot does the thing that you wanted to do, I it would be great. The coding was so long that it was very slow at loading.

The thing that went well is that the robot did the thing that I wanted the robot to do. It was very cool and my friends and my classmates watched everyone’s robot. It was sometimes funny because the robots crashed each other.

The challenges that I had was not much because the blocks are the same thing as Scratch so it was kind of easy for me but I had some problems. When we finished the coding, it was very hard to save the work on your computer. It was also hard to know what to make the robot dance.

I felt very easy and happy about the coding and the movement of the robot. I felt really happy because it was very long and I was proud of it.

I knew how to code on Scratch but I learnt a new way of coding to move a robot. It was fun and exciting to learn the robot. It was also easy to learn how to code a robot and a computer. I also learned that the app that we used for coding was the company that made Scratch.
