In the following questions you must use CORRECT MUSIC TERMINOLOGY.

Make sure you know the specific terms of what you need to talk about.
What is the key of your tune? Time Signature? *
Au Clair de la lunes key of tune is F. My time signature is 4/4.
What sort of rhythms are used in your song? How were they used musically? *
Au Clair de la Lune mostly requires quarter notes, half notes, some dotted quarter notes, and some dotted half notes. It doesn’t have any eighth notes, meaning it’s a slow and calm song. The quarter and half notes helped slow down the tempo.
Discuss your note accuracy and rhythm accuracy in regards to inputting the strumming and melodic playing… *
I think I did a good job of placing the half notes and quarter notes in the correct space. This is because I knew how many beats they lasted. However, I wasn’t familiar with how long the dotted notes lasted.(Mr. Otoole acknowledged my mistake after and I learned that it was 2 and a half beats. I also thought in-putting the strumming was easy because it was similar to imputing the melody, however, the only difference is that you have to create your own pattern.
How did you decide your tempo to match your song and style? Did the context of the song change because of this? *
Before my tempo was too slow, and it was 90. Soon I figured it sounded odd so I did my research and found out it was supposed to be 132. This made my song sound right, and more quicker, matching with the notes. It helped match the french folk song beat.
What skills did you acquire with your use of Garageband? Trimming, Cutting, pasting, metronome, etc… How did you use these skills throughout the assignment? *
I learned a lot from this project. The most important thing I learned was the beat bar at the top. When I first started the project that was what I didn’t know how to use, and I didn’t know about it. Therefore I had a hard time figuring out how long beat was. After joining Mr. Otoole’s class I learned how to use it. It made doing the other steps much easer. Trimming was also an important feature and skill. Although I knew how to do it already, I learned short cuts.(command T)
Discuss any challenges you had to overcome for this assignment! *
Challenges I had to over come was mostly finding out how to use the beat bar. That was what I struggled with most(before I joined the classes). After I learned how to use it, I had less troubles. All in all, after joining classes I got help from the teacher and I over came my problem.
