We already performed the assembly, but I forgot to write about it. When we actually did the assembly it was on September 23.
For the start of the assembly, I got chosen for the 4 kids. I thought that our planning was messy because the 4 kids had to be included in 8 things. The rest of the people were in groups and they had to come up with a script for their chosen Multiple Intelligences. I also learned what some of the Multiple Intelligences meant.
When we did practice in classroom, we messed up because the printer wasn’t working so we couldn’t get our scripts and the people that did the Multiple Intelligences switched their script a little bit and we didn’t know what to say. But we improved a lot in the real assembly day.
When we did the assembly, sometimes there was a funny part, then the audience kept laughing and they couldn’t hear me or somebody who was talking. And I thought that if the audience didn’t hear someone say something they’d be confused. So we had to wait for people to stop laughing.
I think that the assembly was good and I also think we improved from the very start.
We made bar graphs! We collected data of what our questions. I asked “Which Pet”. My choices were “Cat, Dog, Snake, Fish, Tarantula, Fish, Other, I don’t have a favourite pet…” Most of us were confused because we didn’t know who we asked and who we didn’t ask. Some people even had to restart. I didn’t restart because I already knew who I didn’t ask. I was lucky!
After collecting data we had to create the graph, I did a graph on my book. I already finished it. I created the final one at Create A Graph Classic. I got a bit mixed up because I entered the name Create A Graph instead of Create A Graph Classic so I chose the wrong one and had to restart my work. 🙁 We could also use Pie Charts. I really enjoyed using the bar graph!
We also learned the words for the bar graph like range, mode and other things. We already learned them last year, but we forgot almost all of them. We even forgot the scale! But I think we are all on the computers to create a bar graph.
Hi, my name is Tammi. I am in class 4B. This is where I share my learning with others :). My favourite subject is swimming, reading and P.E! I enjoy playing games, doing playful pranks on people, reading, going to classes and doing ASAs! (ASA’s-Not in school), doing extra things during lunch like Library Helper, and I also enjoy drawing stuff at home (Things from games.) and visiting my last year’s teacher. In grade 4, I am looking forward to field trips, camp, and things that include going outside of school :3). I am good at typing, reading, writing, math and drawing! My goals for grade 4 is to not get distracted and to take time to finish my work. And I talk a lot so I need to try to be more quiet.
When I grow up, I wanna be either a scientist, architect or builder… They are both very cool people to be. I think being a scientist is cool because you get to discover things that people might not know. I want to be an architect because you get to design your own house and it would look nice. But when you’re a builder and you wanna build yourself a house then you don’t have to pay.
I am looking forward to things that are outside school like field trips and camp. I think I am enthusiastic and creative because I come up with very crazy things that make people laugh (Jokes) :3). I work well with my friends but they are in different classes. But I can still work well by myself, with my table group and with people in this class (Depends who because what if someone in my group is distracting me?).
