Grade 7 Hike

The grade sevens went on a hike today. We hiked through the Peel Rise, starting in Aberdeen and ending in The Peak via Pok Fu Lam. It took me about 2.5 hours to get to The Peak. Once we were there, I felt so relived and I wanted to just eat my lunch and take a rest immediately. I thought it was an extremely challenging and tiring hike. There were slopes that went uphill and downhill; steep staircases and narrow paths. This was the toughest hike I’ve ever been to, the ones that I went to before didn’t have that much slopes, but more staircases, which in my opinion was easier to walk. Even though we had to trek, I thought that it was quite pleasing. I got to chat with my friends and the weather was fine, it was warm with wind from time to time. The hike was also kind of a “stress relive” event, since I have been quite busy with  3 summative assessments to be due this week, starting the week with a hike might as well help.
