Photo contest

To celebrate the launch of the new Upper School Library website, we’ve got a contest for you…to be completed during your spring break (or soon after)!!

You’ve seen the photos on the 4th floor and in the Library…now it’s your turn.

What: take an interesting and/or innovative photo of you and your holiday book (if you’re reading an eBook, that’s okay too!! Just show us that you’re READING…somewhere, anywhere!!!).

Who: open to all Upper School students and staff. The photo can be of you alone, or you with friends, family, pets…the possibilities are endless!

Where: be creative! It doesn’t matter if you’re in Hong Kong for the entire holiday or somewhere far, far away (you can take a creative picture in any country!).

How: email your photo(s) to Ms. Holm with the subject title: photo contest. You can enter as often as you like; however, each photo must be taken in a different location. Please note: for each photo you submit you must tell us the following in the email you send to Ms. Holm:

-your first and last name

-your grade

-the title of the book in your photo

-the location of the photo

Why: to celebrate #thereadinglife, the joy of reading, to impress your friends and family with your amazing reading skills and photo creativity, not to mention the chance of winning a fabulous prize!! What is this prize, you may be asking? Well, there will be three winners of book vouchers.

1st prize: $500

2nd prize: $300

3rd prize: $100

How do you win this awesome contest, you may be asking? Well, after we return from the break, the best photo entries received will be published on US Daily. All Upper School students and staff will have the chance to vote for their top three picks. The winners will be announced soon after!! Start your reading now and think about all of the creative places you can enjoy a good book and take a photo!
