Equestrian

2022-2023

Each year more than 20 schools compete in the HKEF interschool competition in dressage and show jumping.  CDNIS established its equestrian team three years ago.  Timberwolves Equestrian has been finalists twice in the lower division and now field both higher and lower division teams.

Lower division team members may be 10-14 years old and higher division 12 – 16 years old.

Rider requirements:  Applicants must be competent riders attending regular lessons.  Riders will be required to complete a preliminary dressage test (including canter components) and execute a round of show jumps.  Lower division riders must be able to jump 50cm while higher division riders must jump 80cm and be capable of handling an ex-racehorse.

Time commitment: Mini-comps, heats and finals take a half day from school.
