SEASAC Season 2 & 3 Officially Cancelled

The SEASAC Crisis Committee met and discussed the challenges being faced across the region relating to Covid-19, travel restrictions and sports participation. A unanimous decision was made to cancel all SEASAC events in 2020/21. 

This is not a decision we took lightly, but it was felt it is in the best interests of all schools to have a clear directive to avoid giving their communities false hope or causing large financial losses during already challenging times. 

 CDNIS Timberwolves will now work with other ISSFHK schools to create Hong Kong-based events that meet the restrictions in place by the Education Bureau (EDB).

The Athletic Department is proud to release the list of Nominees for the Timberwolves Season 2 Sports Assembly & Awards Ceremony, held virtually on Thursday May 28th, at 5PM.

The ceremony will be LiveStreamed HERE, starting 4.59PM

On behalf of the Athletic Department, his Director Steve Doleman, and the whole Timberwolves Community, we would like to congratulate all the nominees for their incredible performance during the Season2, for their positive attitude and their impressive commitment.

Athletics Updates! Impressive results Timberwolves!

As we near the end of Term 1, here are our updates:

U20 Rugby Boys had a commanding win in the HKSSF A Grade Final winning 43-5.  The boys have trained hard throughout the season and it sure was a well-deserving win!IMG_3149

A Grade Badminton Team brought up the Bronze medals in the HKSSF Championships.

Girls Cross Country Team continues to train and compete after the season has ended.  This time, they participated in the HK Cross Country Championship and won the Teams event.

Fantastic Weekend of Sport!

We had a fantastic weekend of sport.

SEASAC Cross Country 
We were super hosts and both day 1 at Aberdeen (photos) and Day 2 at Pui O (photos below) went perfectly. Thanks to our Athletics Council for leading the volunteers.
Congratulations to our Girls team who finished 3rd and the the Boys team who finished 4th.  Fantastic individual performances from Tomoka (8th) and Devlin (11th).

SDRC Touch Rugby
After three days of great games our Boys finished 4th and our Girls finished 3rd. Great results.   Thanks to Coaches West, Ching, Villemeur and Schmalenberg for leading the weekend away in China.
The standard of Touch played by the CDNIS Boys during Day 1 and Day 2 was high and promising.  With 4 wins and 1 Loss, the first 2 days’ performance generated a strong hope.  Kids did so well and people watching were so impressed!  On day 3 we lost our momentum and lost in the Semi-final.  However, our boys picked it up in the game and fought hard for 3rd place.  Unfortunately, Shenzhen scored the decision touchdown during extra time but our coaches have never been more proud of the boys who defended with such a big heart and was fully committed all the way!
Well done to the all star players of the tournament – Annie Sweeney, Micaela Forcione, Lance Kou, Tomas Choukroun.

ISSFHK Cross Country Championships 2015!

Our strong team of 41 Cross Country runners (from Grade 5-12) competed with 700 other ISSFHK runners in theChampionship race in Pui O today (Wednesday).

U12/14’s ran 3km, U16/20 Girls ran 4km and our U16/20 Boys completed a 5km course.
The highlight of the day was our G16 Team who took out the G16 Championship with a powerful team effort.  This is our best Cross Country result for a long time.  Congratulations Tomoko, Carolyn, Julia, Nicola and Natasha on your ISSFHK Championship.  Our U20 Boys also brought home Bronze in the U20 Boys Division.  For a full rap of individual results please check out the TWolves site this week and for images of the perfect day on Pui O beach enjoy the photos of the event courtesy of Rita Wong.
