Over 800 athletes and 22 schools competed in 100m,200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, High Jump, Long jump, Javelin, Shot Put and Discus at Siu Sai Wan Stadium. We had two wonderful days of weather and we are all proud of our student’s participation, enjoyment and success. And there was plenty of success including triple Gold from Charlie Stweart (800m/1500m/3000m), Gold and Silver from Katelyn and Juliette and multiple medals for Danielle, Natasha and many relay teams. One of the best features of the CDNIS T&F programme is that it combines Lower School and Upper School students into one supportive team. It was great to see Grade 11/12s looking after Grade 3/4s and Grade 3/4s looking up to awesome athletes like Charlie and Danielle.
We are also proud that – for the 5th year in a row- CDNIS coordinated and hosted this event. Thanks to the team who gave their time to ensure its success; Marc Steiner, Jessy Po, Ngan Chung, Sharmaine Lee, Ella Carlsson, Lisa Kipfer, Viv Wallace, Anne Boyle, Steve Chow and Robert Minor.
