The week started with our celebration of the incredible Timberwolves Year in Sport.

It was also nice to be able to acknowledge Coaches Stone and Field and recognise Wonder Wah.

The week finished with the awesome G20 Touch Rugby Team winning the ISSFHK Touch Rugby champs. Congratulations to Rachel, Cynthia, TMo, Claudia, Kyra, Nicole, Kaya, Isabelle, Harriet, Rita, Char and Cristina, for many of these girls it is such a great way to finish their TWolves Touch career. And to super coaches Kahu and O’Toole, this is a great finish to a fantastic year. Thanks so much for your commitment.

On Monday 22nd May we celebrated an incredible year in Timberwolves Sport at the Athletics Awards.  At these awards we celebrate individual and team success.  It’s important to acknowledge our high achievers, its important to celebrate success, and its important to acknowledge significant individual contributions to team success.  And team success is what its all about.  Our school believes very strongly that  “A player who makes the team great, is more valuable than a great player”

The people we celebrated on stage, on Monday are players that have made their team great.

Congratulations to the B20 Football team who last night won the ISSFHK Div 1 Championship.  This is a super competitive league with teams like WIS, HKIS and ICS traditionally dominating …. not this year though.  CDNIS completed an amazing season that included a SEASAC Final a Jing Ying Championship and yesterday an ISSFHK championship (undefeated).  They had to work very hard against a very good ICS team and were down 0-1 at half time.  Lead by Charlie and Mark and with best games of the year from Brendan and Shum, the TWOlves came back to win 2-1.

Congratulations Champion Coach Wah, Champion Captain Mark and; Ary, Nicholas, Trevor, Chong, Julian, Jonny. Brendan, Charlie, Ayan, Jay, Sean, Cameron, Brett, Chester, Willhelm, Harry, Brian, Robert, Michael, Arthur, Evan, Shing, Frederick, Brandon, Ryan, Henry, Jordan, Yu Xin, Azaan, Gus, Thomas, Nico and Jules. 

Congratulations to our G20 Football team who finished the year with Silver in the ISSFHK Div 1. In a great final the team defended brilliantly for the first half before letting in goals after half time to a top HKIS team. This team has been together for a number of years and many of the players have experienced SEASAC success and developed as players and as a team with Coach Field leading the way.

Many of the team are back again next year to continue the journey and we look forward to more success in 2017/18.
