Homework

Students in Grade 6 are expected to complete up to an hour of homework each evening from Monday to Thursday. This work may vary depending on the day as well as the individual needs of students.

I expect that students will read daily, for a minimum of 25 minutes.  Mr Shaw has requested that students practice their instruments for 15 minutes, three to four times a week.  I don’t assign homework on the weekends or over the holidays, as I encourage students to find balance in their lives. As much as it’s important for students to complete their schoolwork, and to focus on academic tasks, being physically, emotionally, and spiritually balanced is just as important.
