As our students are working towards understanding their area of focus, we realized that more help is needed to explore what possible roads their investigation could take them down.
To help “tune in” to their area of focus, students are completing the following task: Exhibition-Frontloading task
Students will work on this task from now until Monday. I’d like to see you, Parents, help get the ball rolling as well. Look through your child’s Exhibition process journal, and read through some of the sources. Talk about where the investigation could go. The purpose of this task it NOT to write jot notes/research already. The goal of this task is to give students a better idea of where their investigation could go, and possible ways to inquire. They can write “thought notes”, which might reflect their thoughts or ideas as they find out more. The students should be in a better position to write their lines of inquiry and develop research questions after this!
