I am from Vancouver where I completed my Bachelor of Education with a lower primary specialization at the University of British Columbia. A “2 year adventure in Hong Kong” turned into 21 years and I have been teaching overseas since. This is our second time in Hong Kong after spending 10 years in Tokyo as a nursery teacher (to 3 and 4 year olds) and grades 1-3.
I am a mother to three enthusiastic children (age 11 girl, and boy- girl twins who are 6 years old). After taking some time off, I was a supply teacher at various international schools until I become a pre reception teacher at CDNIS 3 years ago. I am very excited to be back in grade 1 this year and look forward to getting to know you and your child better.
Being with young children is where my heart is. I love watching them grow, learn and play.
Any spare time and energy is spent ambitiously pursuing travel, food and appreciating nature.
I am from Hong Kong and I spent eight years in the UK before receiving a BSc (Hons) in Business Management from University of East Anglia and a MSc in Entrepreneurship from Royal Holloway, University of London. After graduation, I came back to Hong Kong and started working in CDNIS. This is my sixth year in the school and I have obtained my Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from University of Sunderland in 2017. I am passionate about travelling and enjoys swimming and cooking during my free time.
