Some pics of wonderful G6 and me receiving the Junior Athlete’s Choice Coach of the Year Award at the Athletic reception in May. I have had the opportunity to work with the G6′s for 3 consecutive years and I am quite proud of what they have accomplished in the athletic field. I have seen students grow and mature in their understanding of fair play and sportsmanship, I have watched as their level of fitness has improved steadily due to their personal determination and effort, I have seen the smiles, the laughter and sense of pride when they have improved a particular skill or level of understanding of a game, and most importantly I have witnessed what good hearts they possess. You will be missed by me as you move on to G7 and as usual, I have a number of you asking can I come up and teach G7 and G8 (I’d love to teach you all the way through to graduation). I am honoured to have been able to teach you all and hope you have learned some valuable life lessons from me and that in the end you are responsible for the way you conduct your life. I also enjoyed coaching many of you over the years in a variety of sports and hope to do so in the future. Thank your parents for sending you to a wonderful school and for providing you with a life that gives many opportunities to you to become a better person.
