This year we have moved from ISA to MAP testing.  Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) use adaptive tests to measure students’ growth and performances throughout the academic years.  Based on the RIT scores, teachers can use the precise data to help adjusting instructions for individual students.  After a trial last May,  all Gr.3-10 students are taking the MAP tests on Reading, Math and Language (Humanities for Gr.7 and up) tests in Sept and again in April.  Teachers receive the test results within 24 hours and can use the data to inform on instructions and to support assessment.  Parents will be given the growth charts of their child after students have taken the April tests.  LTT and administrators have hosted numerous Teacher professional development and parent information sessions to give the community more information on MAP.
