- Friday Updates (12 April 2013)
- During the “Daily life” unit, the prep students continue to build up their vocabulary repertoire with related words and phrases. They practiced to communicate in simple sentence pattern related to days of the week, weather and their favorite food and fruits for meals. In addition to songs and stories, the prep students also make a “Food Plate” of their own. Apart from that, they also listened to Chinese stories through storytelling, and watching videos, partially in line with the HWEO unit introduced by the homeroom.
- We will start the “Family and Play” unit in the coming week.
- As the “Healthy Food” unit has come to an end this week, please help your child keep all the marked worksheets at home for revision. Thank you and happy weekend.

Chinese Update ( January 18, 2013)
Happy New Year 2013, the year of Snake is fast approaching!
The prep students are immersed in the fun activities such as making Chinese New Year craft for decorating the school, singing Chinese New Year songs, learning Chinese traditions, etc.
Important Note
The Chinese Reading Programme for the Preparatory Level starts this week. A yellow paper folder with a storybook inside was sent home along with the Red Bag. Please note:
(1) Read the letter attached inside the yellow folder
(2) Support your kids’ reading at home
(3) Sign where necessary on the booklist
(4) Return the folder on Monday
We do hope that it would help to get the children exposed to more Chinese and to build up their reading habit.
