Marvellous Moms in RB-Week 34

Happy Mother’s Day to our RB Moms!  We hope you’re enjoying a relaxing day, and have been surprised by a few treasures from RB friends!  We thought long and hard, and were very committed to making something special for our Moms-you deserve it!

We continued taking responsibility for our plants this week, watering the seeds planted in soil and testing out bean seeds in water.  We wrote our invitations for the upcoming Spotlight on May 18th (hopefully RB families received them) and enjoyed some “chopstick math”, showing how many with numerals 0-10 in English and Chinese and working on our fine motor skills with chopsticks!

We ended the week with a bang-a “Create, Collaborate and Innovate” with the Performing Arts teachers.  We enjoyed various activities such as sound boards, sewing, drum circles, green screens, karaoke, graffitti, and much more!  Friends had a blast creating art in various forms!

Things to Remember this week:

  1.  RB Spotlight is this Thursday, May 18th  at 8:30 for AM and 12:30 for PM.  Please arrive to the LLAC theatre 5-10 minutes before the event.  RB performers are to wear their PE uniforms for the Spotlight.
  2. Mother’s Day special reusable bags made by yours truly need some care!  Please iron them inside out to preserve their beautiful designs for years to come!
