When you are writing on your site or commenting on the posts of your peers, remember to be respectful. This means avoiding language that others may find offensive.  This does not mean you should not challenge. Challenge ideas respectfully is an important part of learning.

Always keep in mind that your writing is available for the world to read.

Posts and Comments Must Be

  • Thoughtful and well written
  • Used to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding
  • Used to reflect on ideas
  • Used to formulate ideas and seek community feedback
  • Used to support the learning of your peers
  • :) although fun, emoticoms are not appropriate. nor are !!!!!!!&^% or slang
