I grew up in Connecticut, in the Northeastern United States. While studying at Central Connecticut State University, I studied history. Upon graduating, I taught ESL at a public school in Incheon, South Korea. While there, I fell in love with teaching and exploring new cultures. Over the next few years I worked in education from grades Prep-12, primarily as a learning support teacher. I received my masters degree in special education from The University of Saint Joseph in 2013.
I have taught in a variety of cultural and educational contexts and I feel grateful to get to be a learning support teacher at CDNIS and to be living in Hong Kong!
