I hope you all had a lovely Easter break! We had a short week where we started to think about our new unit of inquiry “How people live can change over time”.

We began the unit by meeting up with Ms Campbell who showed us how to do printmaking.

I also shared with them a video of a replica Gutenberg press, which was one of the first methods of printmaking. This method paved the way for the start of mass production of books.

Inspired by Ms Campbell’s activity, we also did some printing in the class, with paints and stampers.

Also this week, we looked at number order, word families and began to prepare for our upcoming SLLRs. We thought ahead to Green week next week and created posters to build awareness.

Student-led Learning Reviews – Please watch this video to learning about the purpose, structure and roles of the parents and students at a Student Led Learning Review. See you all on Friday!

Museum of History fieldtrip – Prep A will be going to the museum on May 10. Please write on the permission slip if you would like to volunteer to help out.
