Will Saint Nicholas visit 3A classroom? Has 3A been kind enough?

Seasons Greetings,  Dear Mums & Dads,

Yesterday, Bella and her Mum shared with us how SinterKlaas is celebrated, around this time of the year, in the Dutch culture and what it means to them and their family. What traditions do you celebrate? Come and share with 3A.

Learning all about the interesting sweets Dutch children eat around SinterKlaas’ time

Catching pepernoten, yummy speculaas-type of biscuits.

Will SinterKlass fill 3A’s slippers and shoes with yummy treats?

Ms. B, being from Belgium, also celebrates Saint Nicholas (in French).  As matter of facts, Ms. B wrote and sent Saint Nicholas a letter, earlier in November, to ask him to stop by the classroom and be bringer of small gifts, as the children have been very kind to each other and with their teachers. Let’s hope he thinks so too and fill our shoes with treats.

Please kindly note 3A’s Xmas party will take place on Friday P7-8. It promises to be very exciting with our Secret Santa gift exchange, Xmas crackers and fun Xmas ornament making in the 12th floor innovation lab. Come and join us if you can or contact Tina.
