Figuring Out Procedural Writing – October 2010

We have been practicing many ways to write procedures and instructions for this unit. Connected to the Scientific Method and following directions for experiments, we have also been writing recipes and sets of  steps to creating things. We have also been using imperative verbs, detailed descriptions and clear statements to help our readers understand our instructions. Ask your child about their “How to…” writing assignment.
