Spelling

Every week, students will select seven words for spelling practice.  Three should come from the theme words and four from misspelled words in their journals or writing assignment. They are expected to practice the words in their ‘Spelling’ book.  On Mondays they will do practice dictation with a class peer.

Reading

Children are expected to read twenty minutes nightly.
