During this unit about food, we learned how to look an issue or an event in different SEEP perspectives. For example, we worked on finding SEEP impact for several issues and also for the summative, we were supposed to connect the food issues from my diet to two SEEP impacts. I think this unit was important because, in our lives, we face a different kind of situations. In order to make the right choice, we have to look at the problem in different perspective. This unit was a good chance to get to know how to look at different perspectives. What I liked about this unit was that I was able to learn where my food actually comes from and also, I got to know my diet better.
In this unit, the goal was to learn about the reason why is good science important and how can scientist and us do a credible work. This unit was important because we learned and reviewed how to write science report in a certain format. Because I forgot about the science report from the last year, it was very useful to practice writing. We also learned that multiple trials will make the data more reliable and credible. This means that when we are looking at someone’s work, we can check whether their result is reliable or not by the number of trials.
In unit 2, biodiversity, I learned about the food chain, web and how it works, why is it important. Definition of communities and population in biodiversity, and difference of abiotic and biotic factors. The best activity was making posters about the ecosystem in the place I chose. This was fun because I can research the place I wanted to and the poster making process was similar to designing, which is reason why I didn’t got bored and enjoyed.
Reflection of Humanities unit 4: Culture and Family
During the unit 4, culture and family, we learned about different family cultures and cultures from more wide units like countries. We also learned what is culture and as a summative, we had to make a video that explains why is one of the place is HK significant to HK’s culture.
I think the video making was most hardest and at the same time, also the best exercise in this unit because we did not had to ask internet why this place is important and we could ask someone in real life. This is better because in the internet, there is lot of fake information and sometimes it is hard to believe whether is it true or not and sometimes the source says something different than what I want to know. It was the best also because editing documentary was new to me, so I tried using adobe premiere because I wanted to give some effects that shows that the video is documentary. So I had to research a lot about adobe premiere. Even putting title was hard at first but as I get more used to it, it was more easier to edit.
The most challenging part for me was finding out the culture of HK because I haven’t lived in HK for long time which means that I know less than other students. So I had to research things that people would already know. This took more time than others, so I could not finish the task.
I think this unit was important in humanities because culture is the thing that makes people different and a individual.
- Explain which parts of the plan were well designed. Which parts of your plan were you most happy/proud of and why?
I think the butterfly kick was mostly well designed because we made the plan by the beat of the music for our safety and for good looking.
I am most happy of the “ Roundhouse Kick(right leg kick)” from anson and my dodging was the most proud because this could not be done if we didn’t practice hard because in order to do this safely, we have to believe each other and set the right time, and do it at same time.
2. Explain which parts of the plan were not well designed. Which parts of your plan were you not happy with and why?
I and not happy with the part that we did not planned because I think we spent too much time practicing creative park, we did not had enough time to practice the first part and we also thought that we were pretty good at the first part. But, as I can see, the timing and spacing did not really worked out, and we did not had much power. Another reason why I am not happy with the first part was because our move was not big enough to see. The moves on the first part is smaller compares to the creative part. I think it is because we were 100% sure at the creative part, but for the first part, we were 70% sure (We even asked about the moves at that date).
3) Explain how you would change the plan to improve it. If you were to do it again, what would you change in your plan and why?
I will improve the first part by practicing and plan with the music just like what we did for the creative part. I want to practice mostly on spacing because in the video, I can see that the kick from Anson is not even close to me. This kind of things will make the moves boring and not realistic. If we are doing it again, I would want to make my creative part more longer because I felt like the plan was too short compare to others.\

In last few weeks, I made a clock
I learned a lot of skills in illustrator because I had to make most of things. I mostly learned how to use line tools because around 70% are made of line tool. I also learned how colours effect differently at laser cutter which was really interesting. Before this, I didn’t thought about using icon in me design. But I found that this is more convenient than making one. If I more chance to make a clock with laser cutter, I will going to check before I print because I forgot to check this time and there were some mistakes, and in the clock, I still can see it.

What I’ve learned about laser cutting design (≥200 words)
During the laser cutting design, I learned many skills on the Illustrator that can be used in the crit C project. One of the skills is to use icon images in the Illustrator. I found this interesting because of the fact that using the work that someone I don’t know was new, and the fact that it is much easier this way instead of doing it by my self. Another thing that I learned from this project is the idea of crit C. If there were no laser cutting design project, I would be still confusing of what to do. But, this mini-project gave me the experience what to do and what to not do which will save a lot of time. The disappointing thing about this project is I couldn’t print mine because I was on holiday at the submission date and I forgot to put it in there before going on holiday. If I printed it, I could saw this working or not.
