What information are you using from this link? *
This link helps me a lot when doing the chords in Garageband. Before watching this video, I never knew there was ‘smart string’ in garageband and I needed to play the chords one by one, and having a lot of troublesome during the creating process. This makes the step for making chords simple and fast, and makes my pace faster, and use more effort on other things.

What information are you using from this link? *
This link helps me a lot when doing drums. This drum gives me more advanced information than normal drums. It teaches me ways to create a unique set of the drum. This video gives me information to change different beats and fillings into my project. This really helps me to make a good drum track by myself rather than getting them from apple loops. This time I get to choose my own type of drums.

What was the inspiration for this song choice? *
This song was my sister’s favourite song and I asked her for which song I should get and she told me to do this song.

Things you could talk about in the next answer – learning to strum, Garageband editing, singing, drum track input, time management etc…

How did your music classes as well as your previous music session and assignment prepare you for this assignment? *
I learn chords and how to use garage band. I learnt techniques using guitar and ukulele at the same time. I learn how to make drum tracks, change time signature, how to edit the singing, etc. This helped me a lot to make my song to be better and more on time.

Now respond to these statements…

I have developed the skills required to perform this music successfully over music this year. Explain…*
I had developed the skills required to perform this music successfully because I tried my best to make the notes on time, smooth notes and correct notes. I think I did these quite well since I practised often, got comments and feedbacks from friends and family members and I improved myself. Therefore, I developed the skills required to perform this piece of music.
I demonstrated the application of skills to create a successful piece of music. This is as good as I can get it! Explain… *
I demonstrated the application of the skills to create a successful piece of music since I tried my really best to complete this piece of music and most note on time, accurate and smooth and have slur which is mainly required in that piece music. I got some help from my friend which knew how to play the flute and improved myself. Through different ways I tried my best to improve, therefore I think I did this quite successful.

Design – Reflection To Ifolio Posts

In my ifolio posts, I find both strength and weakness. My strength of all my ifolio posts are that I had organised all my posts from an order of oldest posts to the newest. I also labeled in all the subjects in the title that is related to that post so both teachers and schoolmates can visit my posts and find what they need easily.

My weakness is that I don’t have much snapshots in my ifolio posts. I also didn’t have all the things we should have been posted on in my own blog which may lead to confusion. There is also barely any feedbacks for my posts and I think I should really improve this because I would  not improve if I never get feet backs. Tags are sometimes not put on the posts also.

To improve my ifolio posts. I should get more people feedbacks since we will learn more about our strength and weakness.Tags should always be found tagged so it would be easier for people to find posts and give comments. I should also always ensure that posts are always put on when needed. Snapshots to make things clearer and understandable.

Now respond to these statements…

I have developed the skills required to perform this music successfully over the first music section. Explain… *
I have developed the skills required to perform this music because my notes are accurate, on time and the notes are even. I believe that my notes are accurate because I did a lot of practise for each note and I did some research to ensure that I am learning the skills in an accurate way. I order to make the melody smooth, I tried my best to blow my notes as even as I can. My notes are also on time as I was using the metronome while playing the flute.

I demonstrated the application of skills to create a successful piece of music. This is as good as I can get it! Explain… *
In this task I have prepared and practised a lot to get the best I can. In this task although my notes are not connected I am very happy with my melody and the accuracy of each note. I believe these are the main things that I have to be more aware. The accuracy of each note is very important, if we don’t play the notes accurately people may listen to the wrong note and played wrongly as it always been very odd when you played the wrong note which will make people think they are not prepare. Since I did all my notes accurately, I think that my melody would be good to listen.

It is nicely aligned and notes are accurate but the vocal is a bit off.
What interesting, different, or exciting elements did they use that you would be incorporate into yours next time round? *
The cords are placed very accurately and clear
Did the context of the song change through their interpretation? *
Everything was said quite precise and I understand what she was trying to express and do. The whole piece was nicely played, I like the way she played it.

Through the process of learning Ukulele skills and working through Garageband I learned musical terms/definitions. Discuss. *
I learned how to hold and play the ukulele, which notes belong to the ukulele, how to use Garageband … Learning these helps me to build up my music cells and it make me more interested about music. Music was once a very boring thing to me but after learning ukulele, it make me think that music is awesome and cool to play and a great thing to do when bored or as a career. Garageband gave me a feeling of rock and fun to play with, which turned out that they are even better than I expected (not including cutting and pasting things) it was fun to play with and easy to play with it. So both Garageband and ukulele gave me a good first impression, I hope that I can continued learning them!!!
How were your decisions on your final arrangement informed by the formative unit work? *
My final arrangement I was informed by my first few fails since I kept discovering and improving in every recording and from youtube to ensure that I am playing the ukulele correct.
Music is communication, music is compromise, music requires discipline, music means collaboration. Discuss. *
I totally agree with what all of the above say because if there is no communication, we will not learn we have to interact with others in order to learn; we will need a compromise between the instrument and ourselves to make sure that we will do what we promised; we will need discipline and self control to ensure that we are practising instrument everyday and we are improving our skills, if we don’t have discipline we cannot improve as much and it will be a waste of time. Music also means collaboration, in order to improve we have to collaborate our ideas and share our thoughts and to learn from each other to improve ourself.
I had a strong artistic direction for my final musical audio recording. Discuss. *
I agree with this statement since everybody has different thoughts we have different idea of what is perfect and to me perfect is to do my best and work hard but not to compare with others. In my own recording I have some short and long notes
