Hi, I am Tiffany Yaury, a new student from 7th grade. Welcome to my blog. Please feel free to give me good and bad comments about my posts and I will always try to improve and be better next time. Hope you enjoy!!! 🙂
Through this project, I have understood and learnt more about how to use the different techniques to produce the material I want from the mixture. This project, I believe that we are quite successful, we have separated all different substance in the mixture. Although the outcome is not the best and still have many things to improve, I think that we have completed our goal, which is to separate the substance. Next time, I would be more cautious and precise in order to create a better outcome. The planning should be improved as we basically followed the plan and separated all the substance. Through making better planning, I believe that I would be better next time as well as have a better product. Overall, I think our group did well, but there is still room for improvement.
What are some cultural consideration people make when designing the products?
This project has a very strong Chinese background and culture included in, as the design we are making is filled with the Chinese blessings. Therefore, we would need to consider the blessing and design on the acrylic plate when designing the product.
How does the design of a product communicate traditions and values?
The design is filled with Chinese tradition and values as our topic this time was to use them. Therefore, the product I made had the element of a blessing, “xinxiangshicheng” and also a drawing which is two koi. This communicates my blessing, wishing her dreams come true as well as a smooth and happy life.
