The Group 4 Project was an excellent opportunity for my to utilise, revise and transfer my knowledge from the various scientific discipline and apply them in the context of the real world. By solving the challenges posed such as “Windy Weather” and “Deliver Me”, I was able to take a glimpse into the challenges in the real world and consider my own role in solving global issues. I was also able to develop skills such as communication, collaboration and creative thinking by engaging with my group members and overcoming countless obstacles. Oftentimes, I had to think outside the box in order to meet the strict requirements and justify my thinking to my peers to ensure a coherent plan to tackle the challenge. Therefore, the process of solving the numerous problems allowed me to meet the learning outcomes of understanding the relationship between scientific disciplines and other areas of knowledge and being aware of the ethical implications of using science.
