Title: Ice Cream
Artist: Atiya Ansari

Medium: Paper, pencil, and color pencils
Description
My artwork called “Ice-Cream” is about a girl who drops her ice cream. There is a girl standing on the left side with a sad face. She is wearing blue jeans and a light blue t-shirt. The girl is pale with dark black hair. There is a ice-cream in mid air and some of it has fallen down. She is on green grassy hills. The ice cream shop is behind the hills and is shaped as an ice cream cone. The picture looks like its very quiet with only one person and it is not a crowded place at all.
Process
First, I drew the girl in the middle with pencil. Next, I drew the hill and thought I could do many so I did. I left some space for the ice cream shop and drew it shaped as an ice-cream. The sun was last. After drawing it with the pencil I lightly erased the lines but not completely. Then I started coloring it.
Purpose
I drew this because I see a lot of children that drop food that they like and then they feel sad afterwards. Sometimes I drop my ice cream too and don’t get another chance to get it at that time.
Elements
The elements used in this artwork is line, shape, space, and color. The colors I used were aqua blue, light green, yellow, purple, brown, and orange. If you look, there are lines everywhere in the drawing. You basically can’t draw something without lines. There are lines that curve and lines that are slanted and straight. The shapes that are used are circles, cones, and rectangles. There is space all over. The mountains have space on them because there are not many things on it, just one person. It is very plain. And the drawing makes it look like it is big.
