Week in review

This week was a bit busy. On Monday morning for our morning inspiration we watched “Be like water, my friend.”, by Bruce Lee. It was funny but interesting. He said ,”If you pour water in a bottle it becomes the bottle.” Also the class made an idea. Many people in our class rest on their heads so if someone rests on their head, Mr.Deragon would sneak up on them, and spray water on them from a water toy. We also reviewed multiplication, division, and ratios. Luke from 6A came to give a presentation about birds. There were five birds and they were: Hummingbird, Owl, Ostrich, Woodpeker, and Parakeet. He explained what type of personality they had. We made a venn diagram with a partner. We wrote what type of bird they are and what type of bird we are. In the afternoon we went to our reading buddies.

On Tuesday morning we edited our reflections that was for home work. We could right about the 5 birds, reading buddies, or about the survey results. After recess we had performing arts. Mr. Shaw taught the clarinets then the other instruments. The room was noisy but the flutes were sitting outside. We prepared for our summative assessment. We got in groups and wrote our script.  And later in the day we got to practice our skit a bit. We later had chinese.

Wednesday morning we had P.E. We are doing basketball right now so  played some games that have to do with shooting and we also played a match afterwards. We had a fire drill and we went to the 6th floor field. After recess we got time to practice, change, and film our skits. We had French after that. After lunch we edited our skits. Then we ended the day with book club.

Thursday morning we had performing arts. We practiced the B flat major scale. We had math club and spelling club. If you are in spelling club or math club you can play any educational game, but if you are not in spelling club you have to play spelling games. And if you’re not in math club you have to play math games. Later in the day we had French then Chinese. At the end of the day after chinese everyone packed up and Ms. Schmalenberg came in to show our class and 2 other classes how to do the “Cupid Shuffle”. We needed enough space so all of us put our desks to the side. This week was fun and a bit busy.
