Firstly I have chosen this book because I saw many people reading this and their is a movie of it. I couldn’t imagin when I saw the front page because it was only a fir bird and a fire arrow. But when I read a few pages it made me interesting and today I will tell how did I felt and what is this book about.
This book is about a girl call Katniss lived in a poor town (District 12) with her younger sister Prim Everdeen, her mother and Prim’s ugliest cat Buttercup. And Katniss bought a firebird with an arrow badge. But a lady who sells it said “I will give you for free because I don’t know what this is and means”
One day a rich city call Capitol came to District 12 for choosing the person to fight for the death The Hunger Games. A Hunger Game is a game that the chosen people will fight for death and the last person wich is still alive will be the winner. Every body (All the people who lives in District 12) needs to go there and a fashioned lady will appears and she will pick with a paper that is in the box and say it out loud and the person that is chosen need to go to Hunger game. And when the fashioned lady picked it was Prim Everdeen!! But Katniss was shocked that she volunteered.
I think Katniss was very brave when she volunteered. I want to read more and imagin how do I feel when I did that.

First of all, I think that you have done well by relating this book to the movie. I also think that you have done well in your attempt to explain what the book was about. What I think you should improve on is your spelling and your grammar because you have quite a few mistakes that I think you could amend. Secondly, you have mixed up your past and present tense. Overall, I think that all these problems could be solved by editing your work.
