“Success in games depends on skills, rules, strategies and sportsmanship.”

What does sportsmanship mean to you/look like to you? Give some examples.

Sportsmanship looks like all teammates not arguing about everything, shaking hands at the end of the game and also just respecting each other. Sportsmanship is caring about everyone; Sportsmanship is not caring about you.

Why is it important to follow the rules of a game?

It is important to follow the rules of games because that decides how well your team plays, because if your team gets taught how to play with the rules then you play a team that hasn’t then it wont be 100% fair.

Why are good team strategies important to success in team games? Give examples of strategies for team handball?  How would you create and/or deny space in team handball?

When creating and denying space in handball you have to keep in mind that you keep moving, and keep talking. When it is opposition’s ball make sure you have your whole team on the other teams players and also make sure you follow them.

What is a strategy you/your team used in “Capture the Flag” to be more successful?

Team strategies are important because you need a plan, you can’t just improvise other wise you will properly lose.

You create space by keep talking and also keep moving           You deny space by marking the other team and also trying to intercept the other teams throw.

Describe why having strong skills helps your team be more successful? Give some examples of skills with a specific team sport in mind.

You could help out your team by telling them some tips and tricks and also if you have more of defending skills you should be in that position not in attack.

Having strong skills are important because….

In basketball /sport of choice it is important to be good at the following skill teamwork and communication.

Why does a team that is very physically fit have an advantage over a team that is not fit?

The team that is physically fit has an advantage(s) because they could keep playing for a long time without resting.
