Today was a D.E.A.D (Drop everything and design) and we are designing a solution to a water problem somewhere in the world. The problem that I will solving is the problem of Singapore not having a sustainable source of fresh water. Singapore has its fresh water piped in from Malaysia and is looking for an alternative because piping it in will become expensive and cannot be maintained. My solution is that Singapore builds water treatment facilities to treat and purify the water for safe drinking. This will allow Singapore to produce sustainable fresh water at low cost.

I have one dangerous habit that I would like to change. I sometimes leave things to the last minute which sometimes has very bad re-percussions. One time I had to write a paragraph for school and I left it till the day before it was due and luckily I got it done on time and I got a good mark on it but in another situation it may not go so well. This is why I would like to change this habit and so far I have been trying to change this and I have made a ton of progress with some good learning strategies.

This Post is a bit late but I wanted to update you. I am starting my grade 8 Year here a CDINS and so far it has been tough but fun. This year I am part of a few clubs such as Model UN, Digital Ambassadors and Coding Club. The Digital Ambassadors Club has gained many new members and it is quite exciting with all the things we have done. We have participated in the Hong Kong Moodle Moot hosted by our school. Many people came and it was fun learning about Moodle and helping people with anything they needed. This year is looking like it will be a fun one

@@@@ {— stars

The trip was very fun with all the activities and shows it was amazing the only reason why I gave it 4/5 was because of the food. It sounds stupid but I was never taught how to eat some of the foods such as the hot pot dinner, I had know clue what I was doing so I started experimenting and from that I ate raw meat and got a stomach ache. Other than that the trip was a lot of fun and was also very educational.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING QUOTATION: “FOR THE THINGS WE HAVE TO LEARN BEFORE WE CAN DO THEM, WE LEARN BY DOING THEM” -ARISTOTLE

EXPLAIN IMPORTANT THINGS YOU LEARNED ON THIS TRIP AND HOW IT WILL BE VALUABLE TO YOU IN OTHER AREAS OF YOUR LIFE.

One of the most important thing to do on this trip was to keep track of time because if you loose track of time you can affect others by being late. I have also learned some lessons like people wont laugh at you for trying your best which is useful if you are trying to give a speech people will respect your courage because you can do what they could not or what they would have trouble doing. I have also learned about how valuable the environment is to everyone in the world and if we don’t try to change our ways we will not have any of the luxuries that we enjoy today.

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF WHAT WE CREATE?

The thing about creating something is that you can not predict how it will change over time for example when you purchase a bottle of water from a store you do not think when you throw it out that it will be piled into a huge garbage dump and covered forever or that it will float in the ocean forever. The Great Wall is a good example the creator of the wall wanted it to be a barrier to keep china safe forever and he had to sacrifice many lives to build it but it has wasted away over time and is now only just a wall that people walk on for the thrill of standing on a monument so its purpose has changed and now it is not doing what it was intended for so the lives were wasted. People need to think farther into the future before they create something that could potentially loose it purpose.
