Festival of the Arts…

Hi everyone!

This week was VERY busy and their is still more to come for tomorrow. This week was Festival of the Arts. We did many things including…

-Hip Hop
– the 6C concert
– And tomorrow the Student Showcase

On Tuesday (and today as well) we did this hip hop thingy. The hip hop teacher taught us a dance to this really weird song (which had a swear word or two in it). The dance was realllllllllly fast and I didn’t know what I was doing!

Not only did we have the hip hop thingy, we had our 6C concert!

We played a variety of songs and had two great Emcees (Chance and Maya) to entertain everyone! A few people did duets, like Samantha and Yan Yan. Samantha composed her own song for her and Yan Yan to play. (Yan Yan plays oboe and Samantha plays flute) (composed means she wrote her own song) Their song was AMAZING! Also, Ella played two solos on her saxophone and she was EXCELLENT!

There is more to come for Festival of the Arts and hopefully one of the activities makes us skip Chinese! Just joking!
