Track and Field Champs

Hello! Well, lots to say, but if I give this post every little detail then it would be rather very long. First thing first, On Tuesday and Wednesday (the 24th and 25t of April) I had track and field champs! On Tuesday I ran the 800 meter and collected silver! (The girl who got 1st was from HKIS and was only 3 seconds ahead of me ). Then on Wednesday was the 1500 meter run 3 and 3/4 laps around a 400 meter track)! I got 3rd (bronze) and the silver winner and I were neck-in-neck the entire race. Her time was 5:40:18 and mine was 5:40:52 (This is in minutes and seconds. No way would it take me 5 hours, 40 minutes and 52 seconds to finish a little less than a mile! ) Anyway… a few hours later (yes, hours. The champs were all day) I ran the 4×400 (for all of you who aren’t familiar with track and field a 4×400 is a relay were 4 people run a lap around the track, which is 400 meters.) My relay team was Harriet (who went first) Tomoka, who went 2nd, I ran 3rd and Ena who went as our anchor! Our relay team won 1st by far! There was at least a 100 meter distance between CDNIS and the school that was in 2nd! I came home with an gold, silver, and bronze medals around my neck. Oh and also the u12 girls (which was me) won the banner for the most points earned from racing! Go CDNIS!
