I owe everyone an apology. I haven’t been keeping up with my blog lately because I have been so busy with my historical fiction ‘The Spartan Diplomat’. Here is my final copy. I hope you enjoy!

    Its a good opening,you put alot of thought into your story,using a good choice and knowledge of history showing your research,your illustrations were very colourful,your comprehension was excellent and descriptions precise, my favourite part in the middle was the girls feet sunk into the sand with Minnows swimming round in the Sapphire sea, i wish it was me! i thought you were generous to your characters ie setting the slave free, good ending Carolyn. well done x

    I especially liked the elements of “girl power” and learning to listen for guidance from unexpected places (the slave).

    This was a good read to break the boring momentum for the day. I was temporarily transported to ancient Greece and got a bit worried as to whether indeed war would break out. I liked how you found names for the characters. Did you think of them yourself?
