Term 1

In the first term of drama the units that we have are

1. Settlement Patterns.

2. Colonialism.

3. Industrialisation.

Outs of these three units I found the hardest to be the settlement patterns because their were lots of different factors that affected settlement. For me this made it very difficult to identify what factors affected a certain settlement.
THe easiest unit for me was industrialisation because everything about it was very strait forward because I think the unit mostly consisted of memorising facts about things that happened during the revolution and its affect on society.

December Theory Test Reflection

I think I did pretty well in this test and overall I am happy with how the test went. I prepared by practicing naming keys in bass clef and treble clef at Music Theory, which was the perfect way to prepare because the questions on Music Theory are identical to the questions on he, test. I will improve my result by not only practicing at Music Theory just before the test but Instead I will practice a couple or few times a week to become a lot more familiar with more aspects of theory. My goal in music is to learn Interval Identification, right now I don’t really know what it is but from what I have seen it is an important skill. I will achieve this by learning online from YouTube videos and then practicing at Music Theory. From the two theory units we have done this year my understanding of what music is has changed because I used to just think their was seven notes and that was all you had to know but now I have learned that music is more intricate and interesting.

Industrial Revolution

Reflection On industrial Revolution Unit

Our new unit is about the industrial revolution. Last class we did and activity on the causes and effects of the industrial revolution on society. The main cause and affect that I found was about how the invention of tools such as the steam engine and the seed planter replaced and decreased most of the work force. This led farmers who lost their jobs to the city. The questions about this unit I have are about the people who led the industrial revolution and more about specific invention.

Self Evaluation Of Instrument Care

In this unit me and my group created a key note presentation and a poster to show our knowledge of instrument care. Our poster and presentation talked about cleaning, maintenance, parts, environmental effects and materials of our instruments. I think that our keynote succeed according to the criteria  a rubric.

Here is my self evaluation:

The area that we struggled in was environmental impacts because we though that point in the rubric was referring to what environments you pay your instrument in and who it would affect, once we figured out what the rubric was actually referring to by watching other groups we fixed the environmental section but is was rushed. I think overall my group did well because during the class time we had we all concentrated during the full class and
