China Trip

by 100055 on May 10, 2012

A couple of weeks ago, 20 kids in Grade 5 (including me), Mr. MacPherson, Ms. Cahusac and some parents went on a trip to GuiZhou Province in China for 4 days. We went with a organization called Zigen Fund which helps girls in rural mainland china get an education.

During the trip we went to different villages around. At the first one we had buddies and they showed us around their village. I really liked that because we got to see how they live and how it is different compared to our living environments. At the second village we helped them pick up garbage around thier village which I found really interesting.

Also on the trip there was lots of yummy, new, chinese foods that I tried and enjoyed. I really liked this trip because it was nothing like I experienced before and it was a lot of fun!

Hi Extreme 13,
I like that your description is pretty detailed, no “trash” information. I also like that you wrote why did you like it… I think you can add more personal thoughts about it. Like I thought it was disgusting picking up trash. How long was the trip?

Jason
