Personal Inquiry STP

In our Units of Inquiry we usually do a personal inquiry. We look at a topic or a question then we research about it and then we share our findings with the class.

For this project we used the Inquiry Cycle:

1. Asking questions

2. Selecting resources

3. Recording information

4. Synthesizing information to create new knowledge and understanding

5. Presenting

6. Reflecting on learning

I thought that I did really well on this project because I really like how my presentation and my information turned out to be. I think that I did well in all of the stage of the cycle. If I was to choose one that was really challenging I would choose number 1. Because before we started on the personal inquiries we asked 2 or 3 questions. I found it really hard to decide which one I wanted to focus on for my research.

I used Prezi for my final presentation in front of my class. Here it is:

Es, great use of Prezi to present your findings. I think you’ve developed a good understanding of what needs to be included in these presentations. Yup, developing inquiry-based questions is a challenge. Keep practising!
