On Friday my parents and I went to the Student led learning review. The purpose of the SLLR is to give a chance for the students to show off their work and what they did in the school year. I think that it is a good idea because the students could discuss with their parents without getting nervous because a teacher is also listening.I think that the best part of the review was when we did the blogging and also showing my parents what we know about technology. Because I got to show my mom and dad what I know, I showed them my blog and what I could do with them, like my Voki, my comments, and also a lot of other stuff. The thing that I didn’t like about it was that my mom didn’t write a post about the review, maybe she was a bit nervous posting a post for the world to see.My parents were most impressed in the french review because they were amazed in how much french know based on the time I had. They think that in a few years when we travel to France I could be my family’s little guide and communicate with the local people there. The biggest mistake I made in the SLLR review was forgetting to tell Chong to send me the file of the Chinese project we did at school. So I couldn’t show my presentation to my parents because the Keynote is in Chong’s computer and I don’t know his password.
