Hi everyone!
Time to post about something that I haven’t done for a while: School.
That’s right, this is my first (official) Grade 6 school weekly update! So you can define each different update I’ll name them different items such as today’s “Stress About the Summative.”
That’s what I’m talking about today. Stress. About the summative assessment that we did this week. It’s due today. I had been sick last Friday so I had missed a day of preparations. When I arrived on Monday, I was worried sick as I hadn’t been able to do anything on the weekend. We did a reflection earlier in the week about what was worrying us and I wrote:
Time. I’m worried I won’t have enough time…
My teacher replied in cursive:
Breathe! You’ll have enough time.
I was fine then. I worked diligently and I finished it yesterday. As I stuck the last paper on my display board I heaved a sigh of relief and yelled in my head, “YAY! I’M DONE!!!” not aloud though…
It looks great. It’s about the similarities and differences between the Aberdeen Wet Market and a Zhao Qing clothing market. Remember when I said about a week ago, that I might’ve made a model? I did a display board AND a report. It’s finally done!!!!!!!!!!!
WOAH! TOO MANY EXCLAMATION MARKS!
Anyway, in other news, my class’s team won the basketball final LAST week. I didn’t play OR cheer because I was doing some work that needed finishing. We get a free DDD (dress down day) on Thursday but I don’t feel like I deserve it…

It’s Cookie #13 here and I toe-dally agree with your post :)
I also had some struggles with my summative assessment, especially since I missed school almost the whole week last week :( Anyways, I am really happy that our class won the intramural! :)
