Our class was assigned to make a creation with our buddies. Something to represent the past and the deference’s. We were given a variety of different choices to what we could be creating the creation on. My buddy was really excited when my teacher started talking about mine craft. Mine Craft is an educational game tool that has been used throughout the school since last year. Most in our grade enjoy using it, even teachers. Anyways Anise(my buddy) wanted to create and old styled chinese house on mine craft, as you can tell from the picture above. The picture on the left is what My buddy and I had created, and the picture on the right is what we used to recreate on mine craft.

I am sick and tired of having to sit and pose like this all the time. Im having horrible cramps everywhere!
My right leg has that feeling you get, don’t know if you’ve heard about it its called pins and needles. My arms are sore, honestly I don’t even know if I even have any. I don’t know because I cant even check on it. my face is posed looking up and no matter how much I try to move I just wont budge. I feel a vibe of people just staring and laughing at me whenever they walk by me. I feel both embarrassed and frustrated. I wish who ever had built me would’ve put me into a more appealing way. And theres always that one time of the year where I feel freezing cold. Sometimes I think to my self that I’m not even wearing any clothes. I am just sick and tired of being looked at like this, I hate it!

You most likely have to give the kids way more freedom than they already have. Such as more acces towards intrenet (electronics), more snacks, soft drinks, candy etc
Let them chose what they want to do, let them do it and give them lots of snacks such as, ice cream, candy, chocolate bars, all of the good stuff. Or go on a trip somwhere exciting, maybe out of town or probably just to a bowling alley. And wait, once u let them open up their computers, dont even think about bugging them especially when their (gaming, watching a movie or chatting someone).
Those are some basic things that you can do to keep a child entertained.
I honestly feel that words would be more accurate, especially for us humans.
I think that words would be more appropriate because they express more than pictures, its more black and white and straight to the point.What I mean by that is, when you look at just a picture, you’ll have several possible perspectives about what the pictures trying to express. Whereas when you say the things you want to express about you’ll get more narrow “”answers”", it’ll be easier to understand in the most part.
Mr.MacPherson had given us an opportunity to create things that we were interested at, we also got a chance to share our creation. I decided to create a piece of artwork, as you can tell from the picture above. I am so far not done this piece of art, I still have to do a lot of the shadings, the shadows and the fine detail. As you can tell there just three butterflies, when you first look at it you wont immediately realize that they are butterflies. You might at first think that they might be flowers or leaves, and I guess thats the purpose.
My goal is to get the right shadings done since it is quite hard for me since I’m not that good at it. Though I have been learning art for how many years, its my number one hobby. I enjoy doing art, I guess it relaxes me in ways and thats why so far I’ve enjoyed doing this project, and maybe thats why I chose to do this art. I have created this art with my imagination, the designs were kind of hard to think of. Because usually I have a picture infront of me to copy, this time its on top of my head.

This house is not like any other normal house, as you can tell from the picture. This house may look quite small but when you go in, this size of what it looks like on the out side looks like only 1/3 of the house inside. In the house You are able to find 4 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 1 large dinning room, 1 large living room, two fairly large swimming pools.
Each of the 4 bedrooms offers you 2 huge flat screen T.V.s one for watching t.v and the other for gaming or for you to be able to surf the web. Other than that the bedroom contains 1 large modern bathroom, the bathroom has installed 2 Jacuzzis a bath tub etc. The room’s style and culture can be changed/ swapped due to your likings. In order for you to do that you’ll just have to clap your hands 5 times and think in your head what style you’d like your room to look like. Or if you find an image online ( from the T.V) you can just click a button on the TV that says ( Activate Room Swapper) and click on the photo. As I said in the beginning there are two kitchens, both very stylish and is suitable for everyone. One of the kitchens is mainly supposed to be used for baking purposes. In this kitchen you will find 3 tall pantries filled with all of the ingredients you can possibly use. And don’t you hate when at the end when you bake something yummy, you have to clean all the mess you’ve created. Well theres no need to suffer with this kitchen, all you have to do is click a button on the fridge that says ( Auto Clean) and every bit of mess you left in the kitchen will be gone just like that. The other kitchen will do the same, clean up all your mess. Its just that that other kitchen is just for a daily basis usage, such as making breakfast and lunch. The dinning room is located right next to the daily basis kitchen. It is a fairly large dinning room. In the dinning room you will find what you can normally find in any ordinary kitchen. Except The dinning table looks like its infinite! It can fit about 50 people on each side of the table. A usual in every house you expect to find a living room. This living room has 3 large flat screened TVs with 3 long sofa’s. Anyone has the ability to change the sofa colors just grab the remote on each side of the sofa arms and there you will find a list of designs already created for you. The two swimming pools are designed for your style. There is one for the younger ones, and another for the more advanced ones. But both of them have something in common, they can both become colorful. I know you guys might be thinking COLORFUL?. Well there are lights placed in each corner of the swimming pool, the lights change color to your likes. all you have to do is yell out the color.

This whistle was found a long time ago, though no one exactly knows the specific time period the whistle was found. The person who had found the whistle had found it in a secret garden where no one else can find. He/She had found out that if you make a wish before you blow the whistle and you make this one specific sound your wish will come true. This person was a very wise and cautious enough to think about creating a list of rules for the whistle. After a few years this person has passed away and left the set of rules the he/she created in one of the parks that where near his/her house.
Here are the rules:
1. Never use this in a selfish way, always use it only in times of need
2. You can use this whistle only 3 times (max) each week
3. Don’t use whistle to change somone

This game has been invented a long long time ago, nobody know exactly when though. This game is played with each player using a pair of jet packs. When people first play it they think it will be impossible for them to be able to win. They thinks its so hard and the truth is it isn’t. This game is practically like basket ball, just with jet packs and the hoops are even further away from each other tan where they usually are. You just need to get the hang of the rules and some of the technique. But if you want to know the basic instructions, here they are:
1. Go into 2 groups/teams, each team has to at least have 5 players on it
2. go get prepared, and decide with the other team which one gets to have the ball first
3. enjoy your game!

What does sportsmanship mean to you/look like to you? Give some examples.
To me sportsmanship looks like people respecting each other not only towards the people in their team but also towards others teams as well. It looks like people co-operating and not arguing. For example at the end of each game each teammate will shake hands or hi five the teammates on the other team. Another example would be passing to each other instead of just passing the ball to only one person in the team. Its always better to pass to everyone on the team and not just pass to one person.
Why is it important to follow the rules of a game?
I think that it is important to follow the rules of the game because it is expected and required . If you don’t its not really fair for the other team who did follow the rules. Its not fair for the other team because having to not follow the rules is almost as if your cheating.
Why are good team strategies important to success in team games? Give examples of strategies for team handball? How would you create and/or deny space in team handball?
Good strategies are important because without them your team would have no idea on what to do and when that happens its more likely that your team will end up losing. When having a strategy your team will be more organized and it will be more planned, everyone on your team will have an idea on what to do.
Creating space: You try to make use of your space, meaning trying to stay away from the members of the other team. When you do this you will have a bigger opportunity to catch and or throw the ball to other members of your team.
Denying space: You try to block and guard the people around you ( the other team). This is a good strategy because then you can “steal” the ball from the other team. For example when someone on the other team tries to pass the ball to someone else and you block that person it will be harder for the other team to accomplish that.
What is a strategy you/your team used in “Capture the Flag” to be more successful?
A strategy that my team used in Capture the Flag was to have a few people distract the other team like false running while some other people would immediately run to the other side to get a ball and then run back on the side of the field.
Describe why having strong skills helps your team be more successful? Give some examples of skills with a specific team sport in mind.
It is always good to have skills in any sport. Its is important because then people in your team will have a better advantage of winning the game. If you don’t have any at all it would give a huge disadvantage for your team to win. For example in basket ball it is important for you to know how to ( dribble, pass, shoot and fake pass/shoot).
Why does a team that is very physically fit have an advantage over a team that is not fit?
A team that is physically fit have and advantage of winning in a game because their bodies are prepared. What I mean by that is the fit team has probably exercised before the game or maybe they do extra sports after school or on the weekends. Whereas the un-fit team is not very prepared and with that they wont have a big advantage of winning.

To me I’d like the ride to be taller. If I was the owner of the ferris wheel I would make more money if I made the ride taller. I think that people would like to spend a longer time up in the ferris wheel, maybe because they’d like to enjoy their time up there, because they want to be/ get relaxed by spending their time on the ferris wheel while enjoying their view of where the ride is. But then again it will have to depend on the price of the payment for you in order to ride on the Ferris wheel. If the price is low and the ride is tall and takes a long time I wont be able to earn as much money in a day. If the ride was still long and tall but the price of the payment was somehow not as cheap I think that I will earn a whole lot more of money than I would if I made the ride shorter.

I am happy that plants exists in this world. It makes the world a much greener place. Without them animals would probably have to go enstinct because plants are what they have as a living
Trees:
I am very thankful for the trees. The trees are what help us live in this world. I we keep on distroying them, it will be quiker for us to die. Because trees are what creats oxegyn and oxegyn is what us humans use to breath air.
Animals:
I am thankful that there are animals in this world because they are very helpfull for us humans. Without them this world would be much more lonley and would have as much company.
Love:
I am happy to have love, you have to take good care of it, not everyone has love. It makes me and maybe everyone else happier.
Life:
This gives me a whole lot of opportunities to live. Without it there is no reason for me to live her on earth.
Ocean/sea:
I am really happy that we have it on earth. But us humankind have to be very gentle with it. I really enjoy my time in the sea when I go to the beach, it makes me feel happy and relaxed.
Emotions:
Because they give more expression to our life. Without them we would be lonly un social people who dont care about maybe anything.
Transportation:
Without this it would be harder and longer for us to get anywhere. But transportation is also one of the many things that is creating pollution in the world.
Technology:
This is one of the things I am thankfull for having because it gives us even more opportunities to be more social. It helps us understand and develop a deeper understanding of things. It helps connect us to family all around the world.

A couple of days ago this company had created a pill called Forever Happiness. Forever Happiness is a pill for any ages, though you should be careful and responsible when taking this pill. This pill will make you happy for at least 15 hours. I think Forever Happiness should be legalized because 1) everyone should somehow always be happy. 2) If someone has recently had something sad happen to them in their lives, they can take this pill to help them get through the pain and be happy.3) I think that happiness is probably one of the most important thing you should experience in your life.

I feel that the warning kinda is tempting me to hug the Buda. I feel that way because whenever someone tells me not to do something I have this urge of wanting to do whats told not not to do. But I only have that urge sometimes, not in times like when a teacher is telling me to not laugh that loudly and I just start laughing really loudly. I have it at times when for example me and my friends are having a staring competition and the judge just starts saying ” don’t blink, don’t blink!” I have this urge of blinking.

My grandma used to tell me a story when I was young, a story about a little girl who is probably as old as me right now. My grandma would used to tell the story to me every day before I slept. I miss how she told the story to me, she would always put a lot of expression to her voice and would always make the story sound so realistic. Today I decided to tell you guys her story, well at least most parts of the story, the parts that I remember.
There was once a little girl, her name was Chloe, Chloe is a nine year old kid who lives with her older sister named Laura. Chloe and Laura lived together without their parents. Their parents had passed away when Laura was at the age of 5. From then on Laura took care of her little sister like a mom. One day after school the went back home. Behind their house was their yard. But behind their yard they found this beautiful path that lead somewhere they don’t know. CHloe was so amazed at how it looked like she wanted to go find out was was waiting on the other side of that path. Their were a tone of trees on the sides of the path with pink leaves and flower surrounding it. All the grass with in the color pink to. Chloe’s asked Laura if they could check out the path, at first Laura thought that it would be safe for them to just go and walk on a path that they’ve never seen before, but after a few thought she decided that it would be fun spending time with her sister in some place very beautiful. So their the went on the path. They walked for hours and hours and never arrived at the end of the path. But when they did get to the other side of the path they ended up arriving at the back of their yard again. They had tried to go again and ended up once again at the back of their yard. Laura then realized that whoever walks on the path will just end up at the same place you started.

I had a weird dream the other day. And I decided to tell you about it, so here it goes
One day after school I went over to my friends house like I usually did every week on thursdays. But this time when we went to her house and up in her room to start homework every thing seemed so tiny. All her furniture were still in the same color, purple. But again everything in her room was huge. Well, it was either the furniture being huge or the both of us shrunk. We were walking around for more than an hour and still didn’t find her desk, we were lost. But after a few more minute we a big fluffy pink surface in front of us. Which was obviously her carpet. And her carpet was normally found laying next to her bed. So we decided to go to the direction of her carpet which wasn’t that far away. When we finally reached the carpet we started climbing on the side of her bed. It took us about half an hour trying to reach the top of her bed. But when we finally reached the top we got so tiered the we decided to take a nap. When I woke up I wasn’t in her giant bed anymore I was laying on my own bed feeling like a normal sized person again.

I have recently invented a new game which is played completely under water. In order for you to be able to play this game you will have to have these equipment:
Goggles ( highly recommended)
Flippers or Water Shoes ( Highly recommended)
Swimsuit
A laser gun
A Necklace that you can fill with oxygen so you are able to stay under water for a longer period of time. You can order this on my website.
The instructions of this game are really simple. If you know the game called laser tag this game is very easy for you to understand the instructions . Here they are :
-There has to be two teams with at least 10 players per team
- Each person will have 5 points in total in the beginning. Once you lose all 5 you will get moved to the other team. Everyone will notice that you moved to the other team because your swim suit has changed to the other teams color. Your gun color will change as well.
- You will have to try to shot the other team players gun in order for them to loose a point. When you aimed at the gun you will gain a point if you miss nothing will happen, the person that you aimed at will lose one point. Once someone on the other team has lost all of their points they will move to your team. When you loose 10 points you are permanently out of the game and will be put to the side. You will be able to go back in the game until someone else losses 10 points. The team that gets more points will win the match. If your necklace runs out of oxygen you are able to go swim up the shore to refill your necklace with oxygen again.

I wake up and see 7 doors lying in front of me. All identical and mysterious. Then a voice in my head just starts talking to me saying: The seven door lead to 7 places Narnia, Neverland, Wonderland, Hogwarts, Camelot, Middle Earth and Westeros. I didn’t know which one to choose from all the 7 doors. So I just walked into the 3 one. When I entered all i saw at first was another door. I thought about either going back from where I started but then I was really looking forward to ending up in Narnia. So I decided to keep going. When I opened the second door I finally saw a bright light shimmer through my eyes. Then I found my self in a castle made out of ice and a queen sitting down on her thrown starring at me. She asked who I was and why I was there. I didn’t now what she was talking about for a seconed then I remembered that I had just walked through two doors and had a voice in my head telling me that the 7 doors will lead to thoose 7 place i have told you. And I then realized that I was in Narnia! There was the queen starring at me waiting for an answer, then I replied and said that I come from a far far away place and that I was on an adventure. After that she sayd to me you dont belong here go back to where your from. And to my suprise I was on my bed with sunlight shining through my eyes from my window.

As you remember I have been doing writing prompts every week now. Heres this weeks 
” Im just saying that its weird for me to have a dream like that! “Kayla protested, ” I usually never have dreams like that, about dragons, treasure and death” ” Well, everyone has weird dreams once an a while, right? Laura said. ” I guess so, maybe your right.” Kayla replied. ” Since you think your dream was so weird may I hear about it” Laura asked curiously. “Sure why not” Kayla answered and gave a little chuckle.
There was a boy his name was John, he had a brother and his names Josh. They both love going on adventures together. But they don’t know whats instal for them that afternoon. They where going in the forest very near where they lived. Their parents where out of town and they where bored so they decided to go to just hang out in the forest. People say that that forest wasn’t just any other ordinary forest. They said that in it there is a legendary dragon in it hiding its gold. Whenever it finds people walking and or entering his forest and trying to steal its gold it’ll kill you in just a second . But they didn’t care nor believe what anybody says they just want to have some fun and have an adventure. So thats exactly what they did ,they went in the forest. When they entered they immediately found them selves in a big blurry and steamy place. There where trees all over them and a lake with a rowboat left there, by its self all scratched. There was a cave near the lake and they were interested to find out what was inside it. so they went in. at first when they entered they couldn’t see anything, it was pitch black. But then there came a light which led to goold. John and Josh where so surprised, there was a whole bunch of gold laying infront of them. They forgot all about what the people use to say, about how if anyone would try and take the dragon s gold would never come back alive. So they took the gold anyway. After a while of collecting gold they headed back to the lake. But when they got to where the rowboat was,they heard a grumbling sound behind them getting closer and closer. Then they saw… The dragon! It was tall and black with long scales on its back. John and Josh where terrified, they didn’t know what to do. They slowly backed up behind the rowboat, hoping that it wouldn’t see them Josh started crying. John was older so he knew that he had to do something to help his little brother stop crying and be brave. John then realized that the dragon was blind and said to Josh ” just be quiet I think its blind. Just get ready and run”. So thats what they did and they ended back safely to the begging of the forest safe and sound.

Are dragons really real, or are they just a myth. Well, there not just a myth. I for one know that they’r real and have seen them. People no longer believe in dragons because they where extinct creatures that lived along time ago. Most of the dragons are harmless if you don’t hurt or harm them. They lived in about the same times the dinosaurs did, but earlier. No one knows how the dragons disappeared or how the got extinct. There are ten different kinds of dragons, They are:
The River dragon
The Earth dragon:
The Wind dragon:
The Sand dragon
The Fire dragon:
And the ice dragon:
The Earth dragon, the Water dragon and the Wind dragon are all harmless. Whereas the Ice dragon, The Sand dragon and the Fire dragon are quite dangerous.

Hi guys!
This weeks writing prompt is to describe what your ultimate treehouse would look like.
In my treehouse there will be 3 floors in total not including the roof top. In front of my treehouse there will be a garden with a mini pond. To enter my tree house there will be a spiral staircase made out of glass. After you reach the top of the staircase you will find a sliding door which leads to the living room on the first floor. In the living room you will see a large coffee table where you can find magazines. In front of the coffee table you will find a huge 3D flat screen T.V, behind the coffee table you will see a couch. Next to the couch there will be a tall and wide book shelf filled with every book you would imagine to find. Also in the living room you will find that the floor is made out of glass. To the left side of the living room you will find a door witch leads to the Kitchen. In the kitchen there will be a tall fridge, next to the fridge you will find another book shelf filled with different cookbooks from all around the world. Besides that everything else in the kitchen will look like any ordinary kitchen. From there you will find your self in the dining room. In the dining room you will find a long and wide beige dining table with chairs on its sides.
To go to the second floor you will have to find a glass lift, which will lead to the second floor. When you first enter the second floor you will be in a hallway. The floor on the second floor is covered in turquoise colored fuzzy carpet. On the second floor you will find 5 different rooms. 3 of the rooms are bedrooms, and one of the bedrooms is mine. The other two are guest rooms. My room has one purple bunk bed. Next to the bunk bed you will find a blue desk with a computer on it. Next to the desk all you’ll see are tall windows. In front of my bunk bed you will see a flat screen T.V, on the left side of the T.V you’ll find 3 fat and comfy bean bags. On the right side of the T.V you will find another door which leads to a bathroom. When you enter the bathroom you will see a shower room and a bath tub. You will also see 1 large square shaped jacuzzi next to the jacuzzi is a mini T.V on this T.V you can also listen to music. In the bathroom you will finally find a sink and a toilet. Next to the bathroom door you will find a large closet.
In one of the other rooms you will find a 2 swimming pools. One with a deep and one shallow. The deep swimming pool is the bigger one. Next to that swimming pool you will find a tall long slide. Also beside the swimming pools you’ll find side chairs and tables. The other room is a library. And the last room is just any normal game room.
To go to the third floor you’ll have to go back to the glass lift and click the button 3rd floor.
On the third floor you will find another 3 big rooms. One of the rooms on the third floor is the art room. In the art room you’ll see that everything in there is colorful.The tables, chairs, closets etc . The other room is a music room. When you enter the music room you’ll find first a large grand piano. Beside the piano there will be a bookshelf full of music books. Another thing in the music room you’ll find a computer where you can download music. The last room in the third floor is a mini indoor garden. The indoor garden is just like any ordinary garden, except it’s indoors.
To get back down to the outdoor garden all you have to do is go back to the glass elevator and press the button 1st floor. If you do that your back to where your started.

I was walking on a street, a dull and old street. Everything surrounding the street was all old fashioned and dull. But then I saw a Bright blue door, with a box in front of its door step, with the crumbling bricks’ surrounding the door. All that caught my attention.
The box. The door. The crumbling brick. It begged me to enter. I was wondering why there was a bright blue door in a very old fashioned street and why was there a box in front of the door. I was tempted and curious to find out what was behind that door.
When I entered the door I first couldn’t see anything besides a long road that I thought led to no where. But as I continued walking on that road, I finally saw some people. I was first wondering where I was and what was happening around me, but then I realized that I was in a town, a very happy and friendly town. In the town there where tall trees, colorful houses, all the roads where clean and everyone was happy.
I didn’t know what to do when I was in that town, but I knew that I wanted to stay longer. I wanted to stay longer because compare from where I lived, where there are tall buildings, dirty streets and pollution filling the air, to the town I just entered in. I would rather live in this town. But I thought about my family and my friends and how I’ll miss them if I stayed. I knew it wasn’t going to be the right thing to do to stay here anyway. So I went back and walked on the long road, that I thought lead to no where. And went out the door with the box on its door step with the crumbling bricks surrounding the it, that had begged me to enter.

What comforts me is
Family because they love me no matter what, because they raised me and provided me with what I needed and supported me whenever I needed them.
Friends because they are always there for me whenever I need them, because I can chat and have fun with them at school. Having friends is just like having family.
Philippines is a part of me. Because it is my home country and my culture as well. Because my cousins and my relatives are from there.
Hong Kong Because I have lived here my whole life, it is a part of me and is my home.
Art because I have loved it ever since I was little. Because whenever I do or make art I feel relaxed and happy. Music, it gives me mixed emotions depending on the type of song. Sometimes I feel excited and or sometimes I feel calm and relaxed.

Bonjour!
As you know I have started reading the Allie Finkle’s Rules For Girls series, and now I’m am on book 3. I have just started reading the book a few days ago, so I’m not quite done reading it yet though i’m already half way through the book. I’ve decided to read the rest of the Allie Finkle’s Rules For Girls series, because when reading the last book Allie Finkle’s Rules for girls ( The New Girl) I got even more interested to find out whats going to happen with Allie in her new school and with her new kitten, Mewsette. So far I find book three really interesting, I cant wait to read the rest of the book. Again I think that these series are suitable for any age.
Here is a short summery about the book:
Allie is really excited when a new girl joins her class! I have just finished reading Allie Finkle’s rules for girls (the new girl) this week. After finishing the book I now understand more about the story.
At first it was really confusing for me to understand the story, because I haven’t read the book before this one, its called Allie Finkle’s rules for girls ( Moving Day ). But since I’ve now finished the book I understand more.
This book is not only about Allie being the new girl but it is also about friendship and trustworthiness. If you’re a girl who would like to read about friendship and how being a new girl is tough then I recommend this book to you. This book is suitable any age.

Hi!
This week I have started to read a book called Allie Finkle’s Rules For Girls (The new girl).Meg Cabot is the Author Of Anne Finkle’s Rules For Girls (Moving Day) and (The new girl). She is also the author of Princess Diaries series.
Here is a short summary about the story…
The Finkle’s just moved in a new home. Since the moved Allie and her two brother’s, Mark and Kevin were going to start there first day of school at Pine Heights Elementary. But when you start your first day in school you gotta look your best, so Allie decides to wear something unique. But it’s hard to be the new girl in school, especially when someone in your class starts bullying you.
I like this book so far because, it relates to a part of my life from the past, like when it was my first day at CDNIS. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the book.

A few days ago we looked at a few value games. I have chosen two of them to talk to you.
The first game I’m going to write to you about is called Catch 10. Catch Ten is a very fun and enjoyable game. It also lets you improve in your memorization skills. All you have to do is let ET the bear make a block of ten. In order for you to do that is to catch blocks which will be floating down the waterfall. Example I click 3, 3, 4 and that will equal to 10. If you collect more than 10 blocks in one go, Bt the bear will drop them . There is only a maximum of 50 blocks in total, when those 50 blocks finish they will tell you how many base 10 blocks you’ve made in total. That’s how you play Catch Ten. I think that catch ten is very fun.
The next game I’m going to talk about is called Blocks Partition. When I was playing this game I thought that it was quite enjoyable. All you have to do is click on the number shown on the screen by the blocks. The block of ten will either be deducted or be increased, the block of 1 might also might be increased or deducted. Thats how you play Blocks Partition. I think this game is very helpful for you if you want to learn the base ten system.

Hi!
This week I have started to read a book by Paul Jennings called ( Weirdest Stories )
This book has a total of 26 Weird stories in it. But so far I am only on the first one called Lennie Lighthouse . Lennie Lighthouse is basically about a boy who is going through a lot in his life. Like finding his real mother.
I don’t have anything negative to say about this story. I actually think that it was very funny and interesting which makes me more curious and tempted to see how the other weird stories in this book has install for me. If you want to read a bunch of weird stories I recommend you reading this one and if you do, I hope you feel the same way as I do to the book.

Hi again!
Today our teacher told us to watch a video on youtube called Lost Generation .This video is basicly about a girl who is now in a lost generation. In this video I think that she was giving a message wich tells people that sometimes when you do the oppisite we might head to a better future.
I found it interesting how near the middle of the video she reversed what she was saying.
I think that this video was very inspirational. Also think that you would like the video as much as I do.

Hi Again!
Yesterday, was the first day of school. And now I’m in grade 6!
My class this year is in 6c and my home room teacher is Mr. McPherson. I’m Excited and Happy but Nervous as well. I’m Excited and Happy because it’s a brand new year and I’ve heard that grade 6 is really fun. I’m Nervous because theres a lot of bigger more complicated thing’s in grade. Example doing Project journals and the Exhibition, besides that I think that grade five is going to be an awesome year.

Hi again!
Today I am going to talk to you about grade 5′s new unit of inquiry, it’s basically all about how our bodies experience changes in life. Example when your born, to having puberty, then to becoming a young adult, then getting more mature and old.But besides that we are also learning about different organs, muscles, bones through out this unit.
In class we had a little project where we had to find an interesting fact online about the human body, and put it in a google dock. Here are some of the facts that I found quite interesting…
• The brain operates on the same amount of power as 10-watt light bulb.
•The brain is much more active at night than during the day.
•Women blink twice as many times as men do.
For my independent research, I might be thinking about learning about how puberty changes your body. The reason why I might be interested in learning about puberty is because I personally think that puberty is a good thing to learn about in grade five. And I think that puberty is a big change to your body. Some of the big questions I have about this subject are :
• What are some of the signs of puberty?
•When does it usually start?
How does it change your body growth?
Recently our class has been working on these workbooks called The Human Body. We have also been playing two games, one is called Whack A Bone the other one is called Poke A Muscle. These games help you learn and memorize some of the muscles in your body as well as bones. I think that these games are sometimes really helpful.

Hi again!
Today I am going to talk to you about my Easter Holidays!
My Easter Holiday was fun… not
At the Beginning of the easter holiday I was so excited and happy about the easter holiday . But afterwords I was so bored and empty minded!
All I did in the easter break was either ( watch movies, read a book, practice piano, have a play date, eat dinner, lunch and breakfast, wake up in the morning and sleep at night ETC.) See how boring that is!
the best thing I did was Sleep, The worst thing I did in the easter break was probably have a piano competition, I got a score of 84 I was so disappointed. You know how usually on Saturdays kids like me sleep till ten on a Saturday morning i had to wake up at I think 6:00 am! just to go to piano class.I hope that next year my Easter break will be funner and Exciting than this year! Right now I am getting even excited about the summer holidays witch is in about a month and a half or less!Awesome right! I hope that the Summer holidays will be fun and not boring, like my easter break!

Today we had our SLLR (Student led learning review)
all of us lead our parents through our work in the classroom.

At first I felt nervous when preparing for the SLLR, but now when actually doing it with my mom I had fun. There where so many steps when doing the SLLR, you had to make a brochure, a menu etc. besides all that I really enjoyed my SLLR.
Mom:
It was really interesting when listening to Tiffany sharing her growth and learnings in grade five. i thought that it was also really interesting how all of them made a brochure for there parents.

Hi again!
About 2 weeks ago grade 5 started a new unit about solid wastes and the environment. Since that was our new unit, all of the grade 5 teachers thought that maybe grade 5 could make a sculpture out of one or two types of solid waste . Like example, me and my friend paired up and choose both plastic bags and plastic bottles to make a sculpture,we would each collect as much of plastic bags and plastic bottles as we can in about a week or two.After collecting we would plan what we could make, then after that we would start making the sculpture. And when planning what we can make the sculpture has to be something related to the unit.

Hi Again!
Today our class 5D had a field trip to the ECO Park in the New Territories. The reason why we went to the Eco park is because it is related to our new unit that has to do with the environment. When we arrived, there where some people there to guide us around and tell us some interesting facts about solid wastes. At the same time showing us some cool and interesting exhibits. We all learned a lot like I learned that there are mainly 7 types of plastics. And that there are several steps when you recycle plastic before it turns into something else again the factories have to sort them shred them clean them or melt them. Currently people have been taking action and being more of a green person compared to the last several years.
I hope we can continue doing that and help make the world a greener place!

Since this is the last week before we go of for an awesome holiday, today we went Ice Skating at Elements.
Elements is a huge mall in Hong Kong, so that means the ice skating rink is huge. Everyone was having fun especially 5D Cause we love skating.I wish that we will be able to go ice skating again because it is so fun.

Hi again!
Today I am going to talk about a special movie that our class watched a few weeks ago.
Movies… What is your favorite movie? I have lots of favorite movies but not until our class started watching a movie called National Treasures! We didn’t watch National treasures for fun, we watched it because National Treasures is related to our Unit of Inquiry, History.
National Treasures is based on a real Historical Event from the past witch makes it really interesting. National Treasures has Adventure, Romance and Comedy all mixed together in the movie. I really like watching National Treasures because it’s really interesting and funny and you can learn a lot of info that happened in the past.
If you really like comedy and action movies then I recommend this awesome movie! If you don’t than maybe you shouldn’t watch this movie.

Hi again This afternoon every grade 5 classes from C.D.N.I.S had a special performance to watch called SPLAT at the library pit.
SPLAT was performed by 3 wonderful actors from a program named FAUST , this performance is named SPLAT because the performance they created was a bunch of poems they choose either old poems or new, they would act the poems they chose to a bunch of people in a really active and dramatic way. The performance was really helpful for grade five because in January we are going to have a performance about a specific historical event from the past that was true.
Anyway my favorite play that Faust did for us was called the mafia cats, Mafia cats is basically a gangster play about 3 little kittens who try to look naughty and cool but when their inside they act really cute an adorable. The reason why I like the mafia cats is because it was really funny and because it reminds me of my friend.
This performance was Awesome!

Today I will talk about HALLOWEEN! Halloween is a very special and exciting event in our school, because we get to see all of our awesome and yet SCARY costumes!
I love dressing up on HALLOWEEN because it is so FUN and also for the fact that I can go TRICK OR TREATING with my friends and family. At school, when its HALLOWEEN we have lots and lots of fun we have an awesome assembly we have parties and much more. But in grade five it is totally different because we have more… FUN! We dance, sing, play, watch movies and eat FOOD!
