The next day must be a very happy day, because my dad just met a long-time-no-see-friend. We called him Uncle Chris, and he didn’t see my dad for 28 years. He came over America for university and lived at San Francisco since. He came to pick us up around 10:00, right after we changed and ate breakfast. He was a great tour and brought us to very nice places. Uncle Chris also drove us in a Porsche.
We first went to a popular place called “Union Square”, it’s a very hot, busy spot in San Francisco. Just like Shinjuku in Tokyo, Japan. It was a very interesting place and there were shopping malls, cars everywhere, and cable cars too! I even drank a hot cinnamon chocolate. It was very tasty. We explored around Union Square and saw it was interesting. After a while, we left and went on with our tour.
After Union Jack we went to a very famous place, I think you guessed already. What is it? It is………. The Golden Gate Bridge! We first went through the Golden Gate Bridge and went to the other side. Then we went to a nearby town called Sausalito and we shopped and ate lunch there, I had a mushroom pasta with white sauce. We also bought 4 magnets from there. After visiting Sausalito, we went back and stopped at viewpoints to look at the Golden Gate Bridge and especially at the windy viewpoint that almost blew me off! It was so windy there that I was scared every moment that my sunglasses will fly off.
After visiting The Golden Gate Bridge, we went to a nearby place called Palace Of The Fine Arts. We walked around and took pictures that had temples, and ponds and it was like we are in Greece. After visiting, Uncle Chris picked us up. Then my mom had a request, she said “Can you take us to the very steep slop in San Francisco?”
If you didn’t know, the very steep slope, the world’s most steepest slope is at San Francisco and my mom told me about it when I was small. The road was called Lombard and that is where the steep slope is. I think Uncle Chris had a hard time going up, but a much more tiring time going down because the road was curved. There were turns like squiggly lines. We took pictures there and Uncle Chris picked us up.
After Lombard, we went to Coit Tower, an ancient circular tower on a mountain. We didn’t go in, we just looked at it and took pictures of San Francisco from the car park beneath Coit Tower. After Coit Tower, we went to a very amazing place, Twin Peaks. It was so amazing that it almost blew me off from the sight. Twin Peaks was so tall that we can see the whole San Francisco from there. We saw downtown, the pacific coast, and the Golden Gate Bridge. I loved that view and it was so cool. It was fortunate for the nice weather because Uncle Chris said that most times you couldn’t see the whole San Francisco from twin peaks.
For dinner, we went to Judah street and ate at very tasty crabs. We ate 3 crabs with 2 roasted and one with red sauce. We also had garlic noodles and it was one of my favorite meals for now. I liked the tasty crab meat and the way we eat it. Then we went back home and said goodbye to Uncle Chris.
