Did you know we had an exhibition?
We did. For our Grade 6 final assessment of the PYP (Primary Years Program), we have to focus on the Where We Are In Place And Time Transdisciplinary Theme. We were to be sorted into groups and each group chooses an issue/area of focus and investigate into it using the inquiry cycle. The inquiry cycle has 6 steps. Tuning In is where you share your prior knowledge with others and come up a plan for you investigation, questions etc… Finding Out is where you research! Sorting Out is where you sort your information. Going Further is the most annoying and tricky part. You draw conclusions/analysis and use your information as backup. Making Connections is where you plan and make your presentation and you take action and present your information in Taking Action.
My Group is group 28 and we focused on Feminist Movement where we looked at women’s rights in the olden times and see how it affected the world. See how women’s rights changed over time and the difference in between.
Our exhibition was a great experience and I really enjoyed it and didn’t believe it is over!
