This week, we worked on our exhibition, we made a Google Document which we record our process of this exhibition. The area of focus my group is working on is The Slave Trade. We will mainly be focusing on sex slaves and human/children trafficking. I found a lot of news articles about slavery and some Brain-pop videos that is about The Underground Railroad and Slavery. In the school  library, I found a few useful books, such as, Before The Slave Trade, By: Robin Walker, Greed, Seeds and  Slavery, written by: Stewart Ross.

Today while the group meeting, we watched a YouTube video/movie from Cambodia about Selling Girls. Which I will put it at the end of this paragraph, and it has English subtitles. It might be inappropriate for young ages but this is what our group needs to watch inorder to get information. So if you don’t want to watch it then just skip that.

So now lets move on to P.E., this week, we are doing T-ball, baseball, softball. Today, we were playing a game. We were separated in two groups, the batting group and the field group. It was really fun and I enjoyed it. This week, we also did some Hip-Hop dancing, with The Red Shoe dance company. We learned it because this week is The Festival of The Arts week and we have to do a lot of art related thing such as dancing. The difficulties I had during the dance was that some parts was a little too fast and I didn’t follow along.

Today, we did a Mosaic Tile activity, the subject is Hong Kong’s Skyline. It was really fun because you get to peel of the glass tiles from the sticky netting, and apply glue on the wood board and then sticking it on the board. Pictures below:
