Pearl Report

Today we watched the pearl report. It is about what the Hong Kong goverments plans on using as our new waste manegnment strategy. In Hong Kong the residents  produces 1.5 kilo grams of trash everyday. I thought it was amazing how much trash we produced and we did not even know. In this video I found out that the Hong Kong goverment is trying to build an incinerator.  We know that the landflls will be filled up in 2013 but i do not think building an incinerator instead is the best choice.  The reason why is beacause Hong Kong is already so polluted by the transportation everyone uses, adding even more pollution wouldn’t help the citizens, it would just harm them.
