This year in camp we went to Cheung Chau Island. When we got there, we first had a long walk to the actual camp site. It took around 45 minutes to get there. So when we got the camp site we set our bags down then we had to rest for a while of course. After that rest for around 15 minutes, we went to our first activity, Mountain Biking, MTB for short was our first activity and the most fun. We went to the mountain biking place and we went to get our bikes and see who was a tiger or a turtle. So, how we tested that was we had ride around a small 15-20 meter place and who ever had no trouble was a tiger. And who ever did have any trouble was a turtle. And I was a tiger because I ridden bikes since when I was like 7 years old.
Then, after that we went to team building games where we had to make something that could protect a egg from falling from a high ledge. So in my group was Joey, Isabelle and Rohaan. Our plan was to make a parachute out of garbage bags. But before that we had to get raw mats. like from the streets. Then when we tested it it didn’t brake
. I think the reason it didn’t brake is because it actually was the speed of a real parachute falling down from 15 meters.
Then after that we went to our rooms to find our cabins and in my cabin was Kaelan, Loren and Nicholas. We found our rooms, and changed to our other clothing for dinner and the night hike. So for dinner we went into the cafeteria and we ate chinese food.
